A number describes a moment.
It does not decide your future.

Your baseball baseline

Choose the age group you compete in; school grade alone does not determine it. Your entries stay in this page and clear when you leave or reload.

How to measure fairly

Use a consistent full-distance throw to second. Record the timing method, accurate throws, and typical versus best time. A drill and a game are different conditions.

How to measure fairly

Match the source workout, not just your game position. PG’s infield workout and NCSA’s middle-infield references use throws from shortstop; a second-base throw is not interchangeable. For catchers, first base and outfield, confirm the corresponding drill. Record radar setup, evaluator and accuracy.

mph

How to measure fairly

Record bat type, radar device, and tee, toss, batting practice or live pitching. Different methods are not interchangeable. PG labels its reference Pocket Radar exit velocity.

15U showcase average7.52 sec

A reference to explore, not a minimum.

How to measure fairly

Use a measured 60 yards, the same starting protocol and surface, and note hand timing versus electronic timing. Do not substitute a home-to-first time.

Keep the date, method, and evaluator with your own records. This site does not verify entered measurements.

College recruiting references

Programs evaluate the whole player. These broad published guidelines are not NCAA eligibility requirements or grade-specific targets.

Source: NCSA recruiting guidelines. *NCSA groups D3 and NAIA together. “Not specified” means the source supplies no numeric guide. Catcher pop times require consistency; NCSA calls for independent verification at D1/D2. No college exit-velocity or catcher arm-velocity thresholds are supplied here.

Academics are a separate part of the path. Check school admissions, financial fit and the NCAA’s current eligibility requirements. Include D3, NAIA and junior colleges in your exploration.

NO SCORE CAN MEASURE YOUR CEILING.

Know what a reference means

Age-group values come from PG’s 2024 showcase participants. College references are NCSA’s broad guidance and may differ from an individual program’s standards. Source pages reviewed October 9, 2026; that is not the measurement year. We do not calculate scholarships, percentiles, pass/fail grades, or recruiting probabilities.

Baseball first. More room to grow.

Football, basketball, soccer, swimming, water polo, volleyball and golf are planned. Each sport will get its own checked measurements and development guidance before it appears here.
